The Senior Electrical Estimator at Electrik Pros is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for driving the strategic estimating process across all markets while operating remotely. As a key player in our growth, you will lead high-value, complex electrical estimates for multifamily, commercial, industrial, and federal projects. Your expertise will shape our competitive positioning, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability in every bid.
Lead the end-to-end estimating process, ensuring seamless execution of deliverables, adherence to deadlines, and the development of highly competitive proposals.
Oversee and refine estimating methodologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall cost-effectiveness.
Interpret and analyze complex contract documents, including project scopes, specifications, and standards, to develop precise project cost estimates.
Provide strategic insights by assessing risks, identifying value engineering opportunities, and advising leadership on optimal bid strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to negotiate the best value pricing.
Prepare and present detailed estimating reports and recommendations to executives and senior management.
Represent the company in post-bid review meetings and project kick-off discussions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
7+ years of progressive electrical estimating experience with a strong track record of leading complex, high-value bids.
Deep expertise in multifamily, commercial, industrial, and federal electrical estimating, including proficiency in cost analysis and risk assessment.
Proficiency in Accubid Estimating Software is required, with a strong ability to leverage the tool for accurate and efficient estimating.
A strategic mindset , with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office , with the ability to integrate estimating data into reports and presentations.
Exceptional communication skills , with the ability to present and defend estimates to internal and external stakeholders confidently.
A results-driven approach , thriving in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
