Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner at FUCHS Lubricants Co. contributes to the overall success of our organization by implementing and shepherding value-added HR initiatives that support the company’s strategic goals. Building strong professional relationships with our leaders and employees and providing support for all team members is a key driver for success in this position. This position offers an opportunity to be exposed to all areas of HR at a global company that strongly believes in growth mindset.

Primary areas of focus include employee and union relations, onboarding, U.S. and Canada leave management, and global mobility including Visa administration.

Additionally, this position will act as a backup for benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS administration. The Sr. HRBP may also be involved in some limited recruiting activities (e.g. sourcing / interviewing), as well as L&D (e.g. development and facilitation of training related to work comp injuries, supervisor training on handling employee issues, etc.).

This position will also be responsible for leading / working on various local or global value-added projects to help drive and improve our processes (e.g. implementing new systems, etc.).

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimally 3-5 years of human resource generalist experience required.
  • Previous experience handling all aspects of FMLA, ADA, work comp required
  • Previous experience administering a global mobility program / Visa administration strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to travel overnight to various U.S. and Canada locations up to 15% of the time (may be higher based on business needs, e.g. open enrollment); including short notice travel (1 day notice).
  • Ability to adjust work schedule short notice as needed based on company needs (e.g. early morning or evening flights when traveling, early or late training sessions or interviews, etc.); changing scheduled days based on business needs, etc.
  • HR certification strongly preferred (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.).
  • Proven track record of suggesting and implementing process improvements within HR.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong growth mindset and a “can do” attitude.
