Job Description

Job Brief:

PC Matic is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Direct Sales Representative to drive new business growth in the Federal Government markets. The ideal candidate is a competitive, self-motivated leader with a strong track record in leadership roles, demonstrating teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. This role requires strategic thinking, follow-through, and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced sales environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities with federal government agencies (B2G).
  • Present and promote PC Matic’s cybersecurity solutions to IT leaders, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Represent PC Matic at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand brand awareness and drive new business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Must be located in Washington, DC
  • 3-5 years of direct B2B and/or B2G sales experience (cybersecurity software preferred) preferred & but not required.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience selling into government agencies and regulated industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive-level decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Additional Details:

  • This is a full-time position working from home with a flexible schedule.

  • Company meetings are held twice a year (April & October) in a different city.
  • Travel requirement is 4-5 days for each meeting.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.

  • Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year + commission
