Pay: $45 - $52 per hour / $1,800 - $2,080 per week

Schedule: We have several clients looking for licensed Special Education Teacher, specific schedule is based on the school and district you will be working with

Position Details

Specialty: Special Education Teacher

• 5th-8th Grade School
• 2 Co-taught Math classes
• 2 Instructional Math classes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist 1 endorsement

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Educate students using various teaching methods and instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Conduct standardized testing and assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Work collaboratively with other educators and specialists to support the overall development of students with disabilities.
• Provide physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and well-being among students.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment that prioritizes child welfare.
• Assist in the development of life skills for students, including social skills, self-care, and independence.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and attendance.

• Professional Development : We offer a reimbursement of $500.00 towards professional development this can include: CEU’s, licensing fees, etc
• Housing: Generous housing stipend.
• Insurance Coverage: Premium medical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting on day one and Continued insurance coverage over the summer if qualified.
