This responsibility includes the organization of student trips to Savannah and other locations for signature events like the SCAD Sidewalk Arts and Sand Arts festivals. Other programs will feature campus activities, small group engagements, clubs and organizations, domestic travel experiences, cultural activities, and leadership training and development programs. Additionally, you will serve as the primary contact for student clubs, oversee the registration process, lead recruitment efforts for the clubs, and ensure they reflect the university’s mission, vision, values, and standards.
In this role, you will oversee communications for the student involvement blog and social media platforms by scheduling and posting content in alignment with the events calendar. You will work with senior student leaders to develop and produce content that promotes events, showcases student engagement, and helps create a lively, inclusive university community. These partnerships will lead to innovative methods of story distribution and brand management. Additionally, you will coordinate orientation and transition programs, be a member of the student leadership team, and support initiatives such as the LEAD Conference.
