Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts is searching for talented individuals to join our 2026 Summer Accounting Internship Program in the following areas: Cost Accounting, General Accounting and Internal Control/Financial Analysis.

• Learn first-hand from top Accounting professionals
• Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers
• Develop mentoring relationships with experienced accountants
• Gain valuable hands-on experience

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries
• Complete reconciliations 
• Process improvement projects included but not limited to six sigma, lean, or robotic process automation
• General accounting functions to support the dealers and business operations
• Cost analysis in accounting
• Enhance financial reporting 
• Assist on system access and distribution center reviews
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• An analytical self-starter with a high sense of urgency

Education

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Junior or senior standing preferred

Wage Scale or Salary Range

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

• Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
• Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
• Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
