With our recent expansion into manufacturing in Houston, Texas, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supply Chain Specialist.

About the Role :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to support our growing manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, managing vendor relationships, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth flow of materials to meet production and sales demand. This is a hands-on role that requires daily coordination with vendors, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Submit and manage purchase orders to vendors for raw materials and packaging
  • Track order confirmations, shipping schedules, and delivery status
  • Forecast material needs based on production plans and sales orders
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in the ERP system and flag potential shortages
  • Coordinate with the production department on incoming materials and lead times
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure materials match customer specs and lead times
  • Support cost control initiatives and identify vendor savings opportunities
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues, quality concerns, and supplier communication gaps

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement (manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience with ERP or inventory systems (SOS Inventory, Zoho, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and communication tools
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
