Job Description

Embark on a transformative travel assignment as an OR Registered Nurse in Colorado, with a dedicated team in Meeker delivering exceptional surgical care across diverse settings. This is your chance to apply advanced perioperative expertise, elevate patient outcomes, and contribute to a culture of precision, compassion, and teamwork. Picture yourself guiding critical procedures, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs, and leaving every patient safer and more supported than before. In this role, your impact extends beyond the operating room as you mentor peers, refine workflows, and champion best practices. And as you pursue surgical excellence, you’ll discover the natural beauty of Colorado, from alpine vistas to serene river valleys, where outdoor adventures and community charm complement your professional journey.

Meeker offers a welcoming base with small-town warmth and access to outdoor wonders. Nestled in northwest Colorado, it provides a peaceful cadence, close-knit neighborhoods, and a close connection to nature that helps recharge after demanding shifts. At the same time, this opportunity includes the flexibility to work in various locations across the U.S., expanding your professional horizons while maintaining the stability you value. Whether you’re drawn to mountain towns, urban centers, or regional facilities, you’ll benefit from diverse case mixes, state-of-the-art equipment, and the chance to connect with colleagues who share your commitment to patient-centered care.

Location Benefits:
- Enjoy the unique balance of Meeker’s rural Colorado charm with modern clinical resources and support, plus access to recreational outlets such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and scenic drives in every season.
- Tap into opportunities to work in multiple U.S. locations through our nationwide network, gaining exposure to different patient populations, facilities, and surgical teams.
- Benefit from a strong clinical community that emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, and a culture of safety, with streamlined onboarding and access to specialty resources to accelerate your growth.
- Experience competitive compensation aligned with expertise, capped by additional incentives designed to recognize your dedication and professional contributions.

Role Specifics and Benefits:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care across diverse surgical specialties, with emphasis on sterile technique, patient positioning, and instrument handling in the operating room.
- Assist surgeons and circulator teams, anticipating needs, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and tools.
- Conduct thorough preop assessments, verify patient histories, allergies, and relevant data, and facilitate timely, smooth transitions to anesthesia and recovery phases.
- Monitor hemodynamics, anesthesia interactions, and intraoperative changes, communicating clearly with anesthesia teams and surgical staff.
- Lead efficient turnover and room readiness, contributing to throughput while maintaining uncompromising quality and safety standards.
- Document perioperative care accurately, participate in post-op debriefs, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Growth and Support
- Access ongoing professional development within the OR specialty, including cross-training opportunities, mentorship from experienced leaders, and exposure to new technologies and techniques.
- Benefit from a structured pathway toward expanded responsibilities, leadership roles, and potential specialty certifications as you demonstrate clinical excellence and team collaboration.
- Join a supportive network that prioritizes your well-being, with proactive resources to help you manage travel demands, time zones, and patient care continuity.

Competitive Benefits and Practical Support
- Weekly pay range of $2,466-$2,560, with guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week, tailored to project needs and facility requirements.
- Attractive housing assistance to ease relocation logistics, reduce out-of-pocket costs, and help you settle into your temporary home quickly.
- Opportunity for a sign-on or performance-based bonus, plus options for contract extensions to align with your career goals and preferences.
- Comprehensive travel support, including 24/7 assistance from our dedicated team while you’re on assignment, so you’re never navigating a shift alone.

We believe in recognizing expertise, investing in growth, and fostering a culture where every team member can contribute their best work. By providing robust resources, transparent communication, and a respect-for-care you’ll feel in every interaction, we aim to help you achieve long-term career satisfaction while delivering top-tier patient care.
