Job Description

Step into a life-changing travel assignment as a Surgical Tech in Bozeman, Montana, where your expertise will support high-stakes procedures, streamline the OR, and elevate patient outcomes. This is your chance to apply precise technical skill, collaborate with skilled surgical teams, and build a catalog of experiences across a range of specialties—all while enjoying the natural splendor that Montana offers. Between cases, you can explore the dramatic beauty of the state: the towering backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the sparkling waters of mountain lakes, and the proximity to iconic destinations like Glacier National Park and Yellowstone’s breathtaking vistas. Montana’s wide-open skies set the stage for both professional focus and moments of renewal in a state famed for outdoor adventures, friendly communities, and a pace that respects work-life balance.

Location benefits go beyond the immediate Bozeman area. You’ll be part of a community that blends a thriving medical ecosystem with exceptional outdoor recreation—hiking, skiing, fishing, and cultural events are all right at your doorstep. Bozeman offers a collegial hospital network, access to continuing education, and the chance to work with surgeons and perioperative teams dedicated to excellence. For those who crave variety, this opportunity also includes the option to rotate across diverse locations within the United States, expanding your clinical exposure, sharpening your adaptability, and enhancing your professional portfolio. Whether you’re drawn to the quiet charm of a university town or the dynamic energy of a metropolitan OR, you’ll find experiences that broaden your scope and enrich your expertise while maintaining the security of guaranteed hours.

As a Surgical Tech on assignment, you’ll play a pivotal role in the operating room. Key responsibilities include preparing sterile instruments and equipment, ensuring the sterility of the surgical field, passing instruments efficiently to the surgeon, counting and organizing supplies, labeling specimens, and supporting the team through successful setup and turnover between cases. You’ll monitor sterile technique, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and contribute to patient safety through meticulous adherence to protocols and documentation. The role offers substantial opportunities for professional growth within the specialty—gaining exposure to a wide range of procedures, refining time management in fast-paced environments, and building leadership capabilities as you mentor newer teammates. In addition to clinical duties, you’ll benefit from a competitive package that includes a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance to ease relocation, and the potential for contract extensions that allow you to stay with a team that values your contributions. The role also includes robust support, with 24/7 assistance available as you travel with the company, ensuring you have help whenever you need it, across time zones and shifts.

Our company values your development as much as your clinical skill. We are committed to empowering surgical professionals with clear career pathways, ongoing education, and a supportive work environment that recognizes your hard work and expertise. Expect mentorship from experienced operating room leaders, access to continuing education opportunities, and a culture that prioritizes wellness, teamwork, and professional dignity. You’ll be encouraged to pursue additional certifications or cross-training opportunities that align with your goals, while enjoying a collaborative atmosphere where your voice matters and your career trajectory is nurtured.

Ready to seize an exciting new chapter? Apply now to join a company that honors your expertise and invest in your professional development. This is more than a travel assignment—it’s a chance to advance your surgical tech career while enjoying Montana’s remarkable landscapes and a pathway to broader opportunities across the country. Please note: the hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process. Start Date: 12/11/2025. Duration: Weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 40.0. Weekly pay: $2,334-$2,377.
