Renowned for their commitment to quality, safety, and innovation, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee large-scale construction projects nationwide.

About the Role:

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will lead on-site operations for multimillion-dollar ground-up construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. This role requires extensive travel to project sites, with a car allowance, per diem at GSA rates, and trips home every two weeks to support your work-life balance. You will play a critical role in coordinating trades, managing schedules, and upholding the highest standards of construction excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily on-site operations for $25M+ ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain detailed daily reports and communicate progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of safety and enforce protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a lead superintendent, with a focus on $25M+ ground-up construction projects (industrial, healthcare, education, commercial, or federal preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate complex project timelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project sites nationwide.
  • OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore) preferred.
