A long-standing consulting firm that's deeply embedded in the telecom space and known for its collaborative culture and commitment to expanding broadband access is looking to hire a Senior Consultant to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to advise organizations on navigating complex regulatory environments, particularly within communications and technology sectors. The ideal candidate would be based out of the company's office in Charlotte, NC, Austin, TX, Greenbelt, MD, or Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to multiple clients, managing relationships and overseeing project execution from start to finish.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored regulatory solutions aligned with client goals.
• Anticipate challenges and proactively develop strategies to address evolving compliance needs.
• Provide expert-level consulting on federal and state regulatory matters, including filings, authorizations, and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct research and analysis to interpret complex regulations and advise clients on best practices.
• Help clients maintain operational readiness and adapt to regulatory changes.
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support business development efforts.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments to deliver forward-thinking insights.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance, ideally within telecom or public utilities
• Deep understanding of federal filings (e.g., FCC Forms), universal service programs, state-level certifications, and compliance for various service providers.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects independently.
• Comfortable working in collaborative, fast-paced environments and a growth mindset.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
