Job Description

Our client, a large telecom company in Bothell, is looking for a UX Writer/Content Strategist for a 3-year contract. This role will help shape the digital experience for their customers and will be responsible for developing engaging, customer-focused content across our consumer homepage, landing pages, and product category pages—key touchpoints for users early in their buying journey. You'll work closely with design and UX teams to ensure that every word aligns with our visual design and enhances the overall user experience. Your goal is to craft compelling messaging that not only informs and inspires but also drives action. By testing and iterating different messaging strategies, you'll help optimize content performance and improve conversion rates across the board.

This is a 3-year hybrid contract that requires 3-days/week onsite in Bothell, WA

Responsibilities:

• Develop clear, engaging, and user-centered content for homepage, landing pages, and product category pages.
• Collaborate with design and UX teams to ensure content supports and enhances the visual design and overall user journey.
• Craft messaging that resonates with users in the early stages of the buying journey, helping guide them toward conversion.
• Use data-driven insights to test and refine messaging strategies across digital touchpoints.
• Create and maintain content guidelines to ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging.
• Contribute to wireframes and prototypes with copy that supports user flow and experience.
• Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Partner with marketing, product, and SEO teams to align messaging with broader business goals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of user experience design principles and how content supports UX.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to develop content that drives engagement and conversion.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, UX, marketing, and product.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, content optimization techniques, and analytics tools.
• Experience working within a CMS and knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Portfolio showcasing UX content work, especially for web and product experiences.
