We are searching for the adventurous type -- a lot of travel will be involved in this position (60%.) Flight, Rental Car & Hotel points accumulated can be used for personal use.

Job Description
- Assists project managers in conducting customer site inspections for asset identification and analysis purposes.
- Makes initial judgment on specific assets inspected and determines if the asset should be included in the valuation report (buildings, machinery & equipment, land improvements, etc.)
- Documents asset attributes for valuation and reporting purposes.
- Applies direct, standard, and normal costing techniques with consistency and accuracy (valuation of subject assets.)
- Develops project management skills (project preparation, prioritizing tasks, effective client communication, scheduling, monitoring productivity, making decisions, solving problems, completing all necessary tasks efficiently, client follow up, and appraiser feedback.)
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree, or in lieu, equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to accommodate the travel requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including air travel.
- Ability to perform work comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Assists project managers in conducting customer site inspections for asset identification and analysis purposes. Makes initial judgment on specific assets inspected and determines if the asset should be included in the valuation report (buildings, machinery & equipment, land improvements, etc.). Documents asset attributes for valuation and reporting purposes.
- Applies direct, standard and normal costing techniques with consistency and accuracy (Valuation of subject assets).
- Reports hours worked, expenses incurred and status of projects on a regular, timely bases.
- Completes work in a timely manner as directed by Project Managers and Regional Managers.
- Develops Project Management skills (project preparation, prioritizing tasks, effective client communication, scheduling, monitoring productivity, making decisions, solving problems, completing all necessary tasks efficiently, client follow up, and appraiser feedback).
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management
Requirements:
- A degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software (word documents, spreadsheets, email)
- Candidates must be willing to pursue a Marshall and Swift Certification (a training program we invest in for our employees)
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel 60% to 70% of time. A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to accommodate the travel requirements
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
