Job SummaryGrech Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Warehouse Manager to lead our parts department operations. This pivotal role ensures seamless inventory control, process efficiency, and coordination with production and customer service. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with a keen eye for detail and a drive to enhance team performance through strategic planning, operational improvements, and effective communication.
Key ResponsibilitiesParts Department Oversight- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Oversee parts inventory storage, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
Inventory Management & Fulfillment- Manage inventory levels to support production and service needs.
- Ensure prompt order processing, precise fulfillment, and systematic documentation.
- Pick, pack, and ship parts accurately and timely to internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement- Use HubSpot to oversee and improve tracking, communication, and shipping workflows.
- Evaluate internal workflows and implement improvements for greater visibility and operational efficiency.
Forecasting & Coordination- Collaborate with Rick V. and production teams to anticipate parts demand and maintain accurate ETAs.
- Monitor and track parts availability for upcoming production builds and deliveries.
Staffing & Budget Oversight- Assess current staffing levels and workload distribution.
- Recommend adjustments to staffing or budget allocations to optimize department performance and cost efficiency.
Daily Duties Include- Respond to inquiries regarding replacement parts, accessories, and technical support.
- Receive, verify, and properly document inbound shipments.
- Identify and source the correct parts to fulfill customer or internal service requests.
- Process parts returns, warranty claims, and scrap materials.
- Manage documentation related to parts transactions and returns.
- Coordinate fulfillment of backordered items with timely updates to relevant parties.
- Assist in after-sales service order processing and documentation.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills- Prior experience managing parts or warehouse operations (automotive or manufacturing preferred).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with inventory software; HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to lift, move, and organize parts inventory as needed.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
