Summary

The warehouse manager will be responsible for ensuring our inventory's timely and accurate shipment, following and enforcing standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Activities

• Recording attendance weekly, recording attendance points and disciplinary actions/resolving problems and conflicts.
• Managing office storage, inventory, and janitorial goods and supplies.
• Knowledge of trucking traffic. Updating records on transportation vendors.
• Enforcing DOT regulations and maintaining records for drivers and tractors.
• Maintain records for roll numbers and assign numbers for each mill.
• Supervise and train on lift truck, maintain all lift truck equipment, and supervise lift truck repairs.
• Maintain training/OSHA records.
• Maintain a supply of propane, spare parts, oils, and chemicals.
• Maintain pallet inventory and supply of treated wood.
• Order and release railcars, maintaining dock levels and restraints.
• AIB inspections and maintain records.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing budgets and increasing efficiencies.
• Experience developing and implementing sales strategies.

Educations & Experience

• 5- 10 years of Warehouse Management experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
