Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Raleigh, NC . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing ground-up commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout. This individual will be responsible for overall project performance, including budget, schedule, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. It’s a strategic leadership role with a direct impact on delivering successful projects and strengthening long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of assigned commercial construction projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.
  • Manage pre-construction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with clients, architects, engineers, and field teams.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and field staff to ensure seamless onsite execution.
  • Identify potential issues early and implement proactive solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, contract specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in ground-up commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract administration, and project delivery methods.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
