Job Title: Sr. Customs Compliance Analyst

Duration: Contract with potential to extend or convert

Pay: $45-48.50/hr.

Overview:

Seeking a trade compliance professional with strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and customs requirements. This individual contributor role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on import compliance, helping ensure regulatory adherence and smooth cross-border operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all imports meet regulatory requirements while minimizing delays and costs.
• Monitor and improve import performance using KPIs; recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain import policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with procurement, logistics, brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Assign accurate HTS codes, understand tariff and non-tariff barriers, and ensure PGA compliance.
• Use CBP systems (ACE) to manage trade compliance activities, including post-summary corrections, protests, and value reconciliation.
• Ensure FTA eligibility (e.g., USMCA) and compliance with relevant acts and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5–7 years in trade compliance or global logistics.
• U.S. Customs Broker License required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Familiarity with ACE and other trade compliance platforms.

• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and driving compliance across teams and locations.
