As an Employment Specialist you will help students learn and strengthen their life skills as it relates to employment and education.

A typical day might include the following:

• Guiding students to develop career goals and objectives
• Helping students create a customized resume and complete applications for either jobs or school admissions
• Coaching and preparing for interviews
• Assisting students at their job sites to ensure success and independence

This position may interest you if:

• You want to positively impact a student's life
• You have previous experience in high-touch customer service environments
• You are passionate about working with students (ages 14+)
• You thrive being part of a collaborative team, yet can work independently

Career growth opportunities – potential selection into our Management Training Program for people who have the following experience:

• Management of a small team
• Informal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations

Additional requirements include:

• Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within your local community
• Monday – Friday, daytime hours availability (flexibility offered for part-time)
• Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device
