Title: Internal Research Operations Manager

Location: Redmond, WA

Duration: 12 months

Compensation: $39-$60/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Research Operations Manager - Dogfooding Program - Data Operations Program Manager - Onsite (Redmond, WA)

As a Internal Research / Data Operations Program Manager , for the internal research / dogfooding program you will be a key member of an internal data team, working closely with a multidisciplinary group of researchers. Your role will be to ensure the team’s operational needs are met, enabling our ambitious research programs to thrive.

This position requires a strong mix of project management and operations expertise, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Success in this role means removing barriers for your team, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and driving tactical progress toward team objectives.

This is an onsite position based in Redmond, WA .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management for Internal Testing (Dogfooding) Initiatives : Oversee initiatives such as internal testing programs, including development of marketing materials, device management systems, and direct support for users participating in internal testing.
  • Device Management & Deployment : Manage tracking and logistics of devices used for in-lab and at-home data collection studies. Responsibilities include procurement, shipping, distribution, and coordination with security teams for proper handling.
  • Procurement & Budgeting : Support lab operations by procuring equipment and supplies necessary for evolving data collection protocols.
  • Communication & Documentation Support : Maintain team records, update internal documentation platforms, and ensure consistent communication of lab-related changes across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, data collection, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with technical infrastructure, including networks, hardware, or software systems.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, build relationships, and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a highly organized and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting human subjects research, data collection, lab management, or research operations in dynamic environments.
  • Background in building or managing scalable systems or services.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex workflows and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
