Job Description

Our client, a prestigious family real estate firm is seeking a highly skilled and sophisticated Real Estate Rental Leasing Professional to join our dynamic team.

• This is a long-term temp position with the goal of converting to a perm position.

• The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm and full onsite.

• The pay rate range is $35.00 - $38.00 per hour with a perm salary of $70K - $75K.

Job Summary:

The Leasing Assistant will report directly to the Director of Leasing and senior management and play an integral role in our leasing operations. The ideal candidate will be mature, energetic, and professional, with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additionally, the applicant should be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and possess strong marketing and social media experience.

Core Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to general inquiries via phone and email from prospective tenants, brokers, and agents

• Schedule and manage showings, ensuring coordination with both prospective tenants and brokers/agents

• Lead property tours and provide in-depth information about available apartments and buildings to prospective tenants and brokers/agents

• Collaborate with the property management and construction teams to ensure that all units being marketed and shown meet company standards and are in top condition

• Work closely with the webmaster and listings manager to ensure accurate and effective online marketing of available properties

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing lease agreements, including renewals and new leases, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation

• Stay proactive by researching and integrating innovative marketing strategies, new websites, MLS databases, and emerging technologies

• Track leasing activities such as active deals, vacancies, renewals, market days, pricing trends, etc., and provide regular updates

• Collaborate with multiple departments on special projects to drive operational efficiency and success

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NYC real estate, preferably with a top-tier brokerage firm (training will be provided for the right candidate)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, brokers, and management

• Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and web technologies

• A highly organized, results-driven individual with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent required.
