Job Description

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for administering the maintenance program for mobile equipment, such as creating work orders, obtaining repair quotes, and scheduling services, supporting the Maintenance Manager.

This person will work cross-functionally with each department manager and the finance department.

Job Responsibilities

• Create work orders/requisitions, obtain quotes, and schedule services for all equipment repairs.
• Track equipment usage weekly and schedule preventative maintenance. Work with vendors and local employees to ensure equipment is well maintained with minimal disruption to operations.
• With the assistance of the Maintenance Manager, make sure invoiced work is in line with the scope of work quoted; dispute and negotiate with vendors as necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring Fixed Asset lists at all facilities are maintained and accurate. Please perform routine asset audits as company policy requires and submit additions, transfers and disposals as needed.
• Develop routine reports and ad hoc analyses to provide better visibility into spending, equipment usage, savings initiatives, and other areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance planning experience; ability to work in maintenance/production environment
• Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and manage planning activities
• Ability to multi-task
• Highly organized and process-oriented
