Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PLC Programmer, Team Lead to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for programming PLCs for food and beverage companies, providing guidance and product support during pre-sales meetings with customers, and leading a small team of PLC programmers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PLC Programming: Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for food and beverage manufacturing processes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of PLC programmers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical guidance and product support during pre-sales meetings with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful completion of PLC programming projects.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLC programming and control systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of PLC programs, configurations, and project progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve PLC programming processes and team performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and support.
