Job Description

Brewco is looking for a dynamic Program Director – Wholesale & Logistics to help lead and grow our operations across the country. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this high-impact role plays a key part in coordinating and overseeing wholesale and logistics programs in all Brewco markets—and lending support in non-Brewco markets as needed. Duties and Responsibilities:

The Program Director Wholesale and Logistics, in collaboration with in-market Stock Managers, oversees all efforts to secure, maintain, and distribute the company's product stock levels. They must understand and follow all State and Local level regulations related to the purchase, warehousing, distribution and inventory management in each state. This includes all Wholesaler and/or Retailer sales process.

The Program Director Wholesale and Logistics, in collaboration with in-market Stock Managers implements and manages the appropriate systems to monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, place orders through the appropriate system(s), and manages warehouse operations to prevent stockouts, while optimizing storage efficiency. Oversight to the management of inventory in-market at partner locations, mobile assets, and the company’s in-market warehouse facilities.

Oversee in-market Stock Managers to identify, implement, and maintain processes supporting sales/distribution contracts per client defined monthly objectives. These include but are not limited to:

  • Establishes mechanisms to support program on-boarding in each market.
  • Oversees overall warehousing in-take and out-take within each market.
  • Oversee on time and appropriate deliveries to identified locations.
  • Implementing and managing initial force-out payment and inventory load-in.
  • Managing selling unit placement and ‘setup’.
  • Educating other staff and management on the selling program and bar staff referral program.
  • Utilizing lunch and learn capability.
  • Drive referrals of other staff to BAs and/or Coaches for guided trials and sales/lending opportunities.
  • Ensuring contract compliance through ongoing audits
  • One (1) audit visit per contracted selling location per week
  • Other frontline staff will conduct ad hoc audits if present in the location for BA activity
  • Immediate reporting to stock manager if out of compliance to address
  • Ensure consistent product availability with contracted outlets
  • No out of stocks in the market
  • <5 packs of a SKU triggers automatic re-order requirement
  • Immediate off-car sales to address. If a decision maker (checkbook) is not available, 48 hours maximum to fulfill stock requirements
  • Ensure agreed upon placement of selling units
  • Ensure proper condition and functionality of selling units
  • Ensure provided Brand materials are utilized in accordance with contract
  • Contract violations will trigger a warning and potential cancellation of the program
  • Oversee the receiving, stocking, and organization of products, ensuring accurate inventory tracking through SAP software, and timely documentation of shipments, stock levels, and discrepancies.
  • Utilize SAP software to maintain and update inventory records, monitor stock movements, and reconcile physical inventory with system data, ensuring alignment with GMP standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment for products, ensuring product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and quality checks, ensuring that inventory is stored according to GMP guidelines, maintaining product integrity and safety
  • Ensure staff compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor inventory trends and optimize turnover rates using SAP data, adjusting records and informing relevant departments of low stock or replenishment needs.
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability of products, ensuring all inventory-related records comply with GMP documentation standards.
  • Report on inventory status, compliance with GMP, and any inventory discrepancies or issues, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Implement and enforce stock rotation and expiration management practices to ensure the quality and safety of products throughout the inventory lifecycle.
  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and testing, products or materials. • Inspect the physical condition of products and equipment.
  • Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation and logistics systems.
  • Collaborate with BMG Program Manager (Retail and Field Force) with stock management processes training and oversight with local Stock Managers. Coordinates the training and management of the process with local Stock Managers and BMG support staff.
  • Collaborate with BMG Program Manager (Retail and Field Force) to establish logistics mechanisms to support program delivery.
  • Oversees overall warehousing in-take and out-take within each market.
  • Oversee on time and appropriate deliveries to locations.
  • Complexities of the position include multi-level communications.
  • Work within standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, or government regulations.
  • Monitor product delivery and storage processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or safety records.
  • Examine invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to local and state regulations.
  • Direct inbound or outbound operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.
  • Recommend improvements to internal or external systems or processes.

Collaborate with in-market teams to coordinate logistics for the program while maintaining communication with the team on the ground.

Collaborate with in-market teams to execute and orchestrate visual merchandising.

Work with Brewco Leadership and the other teams on activations, event execution, and provide retail support as needed.

Develops and maintains communication with Event and Logistics Coordinators in each market:

  • Provides programming progress, challenges, and achievements relating to in-market retail fronts.
  • Conducts monthly meetings with direct reports.

Oversee the execution of program activities:

  • Ensures that program activities align with the established objectives and timelines.
  • Operates within Company guidelines such as job descriptions, staff culture, values and code of conduct, and staff recruitment.
  • Supports Company Standard Operating Procedures and Retail Operations Guidebook.
  • Manages warehouse operations and attends to immediate and future program needs.
  • Visits market sites regularly to evaluate access, feasibility, power requirements, etc.
  • Supports and monitors implementation of Company’s Workforce Management Tools
  • Troubleshoot technology issues on time.
  • Oversee in-market risk assessments at each activation location.
  • Acts as a responsive lead for security and safety issues that may arise with connection to leadership.
  • Provide leadership to in-market Event and Logistic Coordinators and Drivers to ensure program compliance: o Completion of all pre-trip and post-trip paperwork.
  • Recording of mileage logs and proper documentation for DOT compliance and reporting o Proper mobile asset deployment procedures include loading and unloading of necessary equipment.
  • Management of necessary repairs and maintenance when needed.
  • Proper fueling and upkeep of mobile assets and generator(s).
  • Ensuring staff is engaging, friendly, and professional when meeting with visitors at event activations.
  • Works well with all Program Group employees and program.
  • Works as part of a team and is willing to follow directions from others and apply them to assigned tasks.

Collaborate with BMG Program Manager (Operations), in-market Event and Logistic Coordinators, and Drivers to identify and develop processes to transport truck(s), trailer(s), containers(s) and other program assets to locations within the market territory.

  • Lead safe and efficient setup, execution, and teardown of event activations—including managing display elements and equipment.
  • Ensure vehicle and asset safety, follow transportation regulations, and maintain open communication with team members and managers.
  • Plan event logistics, coordinate with stakeholders, and oversee on-site program execution in alignment with SOPs and safety guidelines.
