Permanent Project Foreman Position - Raleigh, NC - Direct Hire AEC Recruitment

Position Summary:

HC Solutions Group specializes in the placement of Construction Management professionals. We have partnered with a Raleigh, NC construction company, and have a career opportunity for a Project Forman.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure general safety practices on jobsites
• Oversee & coordinate trade work on-site for multiple projects
• Schedule work to meet deadlines
• Arrange delivery/pickup of materials by means necessary to meet project requirements
• Call subcontractors & suppliers frequently to confirm scheduling and coordinate work
• Recognize changes in work, and communicate timely to Project Manager
• Attend Project Meetings when requested by the Project Manager
• Engage with owners/engineers/client representatives as needed
• Report on-site information and updates to project manager daily
• Reporting job-specific information via logbook or construction journal as required on each project.
• Infrequent and short-term after-hours work will be required.
• Attend educational classes, seminars, and training opportunities as needed.

Skills mandatory for the position:

• Carpentry/Finishing Skills
• Proficient with tape measure and ability to learn complex layout of concrete work/walls/trade work
• General knowledge of construction processes and trade work
• Ability to meet with Owner/Client to discuss projects, and communicate back to Project Manager
• Good organization skills and efficient time management
• Pick up/drop off materials
• Able to pass a background check/drug test
• Driver’s license
• Potential for growth to rapidly move to Superintendent salary based on skills and experience
• Limited weekend and night work
• Blueprint reading skills - Residential/Commercial
• Computer Skills
